    Before Booking

    To assist in achieving compliance here is a checklist of actions you can do;

    • Replace, tighten or adjust the hinges on your gate so it shuts correctly
    • Gate must open out away from the pool area
    • Make sure the opening latch is higher than 1.5 metres
    • The pool fence must be more than 1.2 metres and have no gaps larger than 100 mm wide
    • Trim back any branches that a child could use to climb over the fence
    • Shield or remove climbable objects within 900mm of the pool fence
    • Install security screens to windows  that open into the pool area or ensure these windows cant open any more than 100 mm
    • Make sure no door opens from the house into the pool area
    • Remove climbable objects that are within 300mm of the inside of the pool fence
    • Ensure you have an approved CPR and Resuscitation sign dislayed within the pool area. This sign MUST now have child and infant resuscitation information included.
